A taste of Jaffa
We, the BDS movement of Slovenia, are gathering funds for an exhibition ‘A taste of Jaffa’. The photographic exhibition intends to show through the symbol represented by the Jaffa orange the life of the Palestinian people before and after the creation of Israel. The Jaffa orange, once the symbol of a thriving Palestinian agricultural industry, a symbol of co-existence between Palestinians and Jews, today stands as a symbol of Israeli occupation and apartheid. Through the exhibition we also wish to raise awareness about Israeli apartheid and occupation.
