Danes smo pred Državnim zborom pričakali smo izraelskega zunanjega ministra Gideon Sa’ara, ki se je v Državnem zboru srečal s predsednikoma Odbora za zunanjo politiko in Odbora za obrambo. Proti ministru Sa’aru je pred dnevi Fundacija Hind Rajab na slovensko policijo in državno tožilstvo vložila kazensko ovadbo, v kateri mu očitajo kazniva dejanja genocida, vojnih hudodelstev in mučenja.

The new Slovenian government has welcomed you.
The new Slovenian government has revoked the arms embargo against Israel to please you.
The new Slovenian government is happy to strengthen ties and deepen relations with a state that is committing genocide, apartheid, ethnic cleansing and occupation.
But let us be clear: this is not in our name. We know what Israel is doing.
· We know that Israel has killed more than 73.000 people in Gaza in just three years, including more than 20,000 children and babies.
· We know that Israel has completely destroyed the entire life-sustaining infrastructure in Gaza.
· We know that Israel is systematically starving and torturing the Palestinian population — including children.
· We know that Israel is carrying out ethnic cleansing in the West Bank — displacing and killing the Palestinian population, destroying their homes and confiscating their land.
· We know that Israel has killed more than 3,000 people in attacks on Lebanon, displaced one million people, and occupied more than a fifth of the territory.
· We know that Israel, together with the USA, represent the biggest threat to the international order and peace.
And we know that you, Gideon Sa’ar, as a government minister, have been actively involved in all of this and bear personal responsibility.
We know that you have publicly defended and justified attacks against Palestinians, their homes and hospitals, and that you have defended the systematic use of starvation and torture.
We know that you have publicly supported mass displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank.
We know that for these reasons, the Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a criminal complaint against you with the Slovenian police and district attorney and that you should be arrested.
Slovenian politicians and government officials are shaking hands with you. They are smiling at you and praising you.
But we, the people of Slovenia, we condemn you. Because we do not support Israel’s mass atrocities against Palestinians, we will continue to demand sanctions against Israel and punishment for all responsible. Like you.
We do not welcome genociders.
